Dr. David Glener
David Michael Glener was born and raised on Long Island. He attended the 7-year-medical program at The City College of New York, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. He then attended New York Medical College, receiving his M.D. in 1989. After completing his surgery internship and first two years of residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he went on to complete his anesthesthiology and pain medicaine training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
Dr. Glener is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Board of Pain Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Florida State University School of Medicine and an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida School Of Medicine. He has been a Medical Expert for the Florida Board of Medicine since 1997. Dr. Glener is also a consultant for the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, as well as other law enforcement agencies, regarding the proper practice of pain medicine. He is a member of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Glener is married with three grown children. Two of Dr. Glener's children have just graduated from medical school and have started their residency and the third is currently in medical school.
